Arrival day in Bangkok. We explore the quiet waterfront Hua Takhe Old Market near the airport. This is Day 1 of our 7-night, 8-day trip to Siem Reap & Bangkok. We took a late-night ANA flight from Tokyo (Haneda) to Bangkok and stayed near Suvarnabhumi Airport at “Suvarnabhumi Ville Airport Hotel.” It’s a calm and relaxing place, hard to believe it’s so close to the airport. We explored Hua Takhe Old Market along the canal, enjoying its nostalgic atmosphere and quiet waterfront scenery. In the evening, we had authentic Thai food at a restaurant overlooking the airport.
