Teach English in Spain as a Language Assistant: Programs & Comparison

This video is to help compare several programs in which you can be a language assistant in Spain. Updated 2024 info and programs: https://www.theworkingexpat.com/post/... I will be discussing and comparing the following programs: The Spanish Ministry’s Program, BEDA, MEDDEAS, Conversaspain & CIEE I will be breaking down each programs, including: eligibility, price, cost, location, workload and program comparisons. COMMONALITIES IN EACH PROGRAM YOU SHOULD NOTE: 1. You are a Language Assistant. You are not the direct teacher. 2. No TEFL/TSOL is needed. 3. Your experience will vary depending on the region and SCHOOL you are placed in. 4. You receive €700-€1,000 per month. This is enough to live on. But, people do supplement that by teaching online or tutoring on the side. 5. Don’t let the program’s website sell you on Spain. You are already sold on Spain. Look for info about their company. 6. When you are choosing a location, know that a region can be big, it is not the city center. You should not pay to work. However, everyone is different and it may be the best option for you.
