What we say and how we say it is very important. Bad words, cussing, swearing, cursing, coarse language, foul language, corrupting talk, unwholesome talk, etc. Whatever you call it, Christians should avoid it. Some words should just never be said, some words are only “bad words” if we use them in the wrong way (like taking the Lord’s name in vain). But, the truth is, any word can be a bad word if you use it in a mean way. We need to tame our tongues (which is incredibly difficult!) and use our words to build others up, not tear them down.
