Fast riffs. Loud chorus. “BOOTS AND BRACES” is a fast and energetic Oi! / streetpunk anthem from B.O.T.P. (Boots On The Pavement), inspired by the raw atmosphere of the 1980s British Oi! scene. Built around gang vocals, melodic hooks and classic streetpunk energy, the track is both a tribute and a chaotic reflection of the era that shaped the sound and style of Oi! culture. NOTES & CONTEXT 1.) I fully accept the criticism if you find the video too sarcastic or too self-ironic. 2.) This song has absolutely NO connection to any of the many “Boots And Braces” songs released over the past 50 years. 3.) The goal of this track and video was to capture the atmosphere of the 1980s Oi! / skinhead / streetpunk scene — with more or less success. 4.) Ten times out of ten, I failed to generate proper small-check Ben Sherman shirts. Apparently AI video generators are still not fully prepared for illustrating classic skinhead fashion.
