I am going to give Dead On Plastix "RED LABEL" Hard a try to see how it stacks up against the other brands I have used. In a recent video I was shooting the 12" Mega Grub from Epic Bait Molds, this type of presentation requires a hard blend of plastisol. I have heard many good things about the Dead On Plastix Red Label and I am excited to give this a try. I did three different types of bait builds today including a pigment, a mica powder, and one with just glitter. Overall, I was very impressed with how the Dead On Plastix performed in the shop today. It heats well in the microwave, the plastic came out of the microwave virtually bubble free, the odor was low but there is like all plastisol a faint odor. The plastisol shot well into the molds but I could tell it was a Hard blend as I did notice I needed to apply a bit more pressure with the injector. The baits cured quickly and did not have an oily sticky feel to them as I removed them from the molds. At the end of the day I was really impressed with this Dead On Plastix "RED LABEL" Hard and this company will be getting a good look from yours truly in the future.
