👉 Bit Of A Con | McDonald's McPlant World Cup Edition | "Full Review"

Today’s episode takes us to McDonald’s, where we were trying the limited-time McPlant FIFA World Cup 2026 Meal. I paid £10.69 for the medium meal through Deliveroo, which included a Raspberry Sprite upgrade. The Raspberry Sprite was fairly new at the time and something I wanted to try alongside the meal. For comparison, the medium meal was £9.49 in-store, while the large meal was £9.99, so there is definitely a bit of a delivery premium. As part of the World Cup promotion, McDonald’s are giving out collectible cups featuring football legends and McDonald’s characters. The cups are handed out at random, so you never quite know what you're going to get. To be honest, this review ended up being less about the McPlant itself and more about the World Cup promotion. The burger was the usual McPlant, the fries came in special World Cup packaging, and the collectible cup was the main attraction. Unfortunately, the football theme felt a little strange when I ended up with a Grimace cup rather than anything particularly World Cup-related. 😄 Maybe I'm missing something, but the whole thing felt a bit more like a marketing promotion than a proper World Cup meal. Was it worth the money, or was it a bit of a con? Stay sneaky. ⚽🍔
