Batman 1989 TV News Coverage - Part 1

Finally, from the depths of the Munson video archives, comes the first installment of a huge batch of news coverage I videotaped from local TV back in 1989, prior to the release of Batman. To put this in perspective, at the time Batman enjoyed one of the largest media blitzes in history. It set the bar for what a blockbuster release was supposed to look like, and films today like "The Force Awakens" in my opinion really don't even come close. Re-watching this video today, something like 26 years after I recorded it, I am once again struck with all the same feelings of excitement and anticipation that I felt back then. And I am reminded of why I love that Batmobile so much!
