Prague, Czechia 🇨🇿 St. Vitus — Cathedral of Czech Kings & St. George’s Basilica 4K

St. Vitus Cathedral is the spiritual heart of Prague Castle and one of the finest Gothic landmarks in Central Europe. Its soaring towers, colourful stained-glass windows, royal tombs and richly decorated chapels reflect centuries of Czech history. The cathedral also houses the tomb of St. Wenceslas and the Czech Crown Jewels. Nearby, St. George’s Basilica offers a striking contrast. Founded in the 10th century, it is one of Prague’s oldest surviving churches, known for its simple Romanesque interior, red Baroque façade and peaceful atmosphere. Together, these two landmarks reveal the architectural and religious history of Prague Castle, from early medieval foundations to grand Gothic splendour.
