This walk starts at Charlotte Square around Charlotte Square Garden. The garden has a statue of Prince Albert in the middle. The surrounding area is well known for Alexandar Graham Bell’s birthplace (south east corner), West Register House (west side) and the Georgian House (north side). We continue to Rose Street. This is a side street parallel to Princes Street running west to east from Charlotte Square to St. Andrew Square. The street houses number of beautiful pubs and shops. The St. Andrew Square lies at the east end of Ross Street. The square is dominated by the Melville Monument at the centre. This massive column as a statue of Henry Dundas. The east side of the square houses beautiful building Dundas House which houses Royal Bank of Scotland. This walk then lead you to Princes Street, a bustling shopping street in Edinburgh. One can see Scott Monument, National Galleries of Scotland, The Balmoral hotel, Waverley train station and Princes Street Gardens. This walk ends with a clip on Christmas high wire swing.
