I Simply Could Not Resist This USA Jersey

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is finally here, and while I originally planned to move straight into tournament coverage, there was one last jersey I simply couldn’t leave behind. In this video, I reveal the new USA home jersey for the 2026 World Cup – a shirt that immediately caught my eye with its striking interpretation of the Stars and Stripes. From the moment the first leaks appeared, I knew this was one of the standout designs of the tournament. But there is more to this shirt than just its design. Having spent ten years living in the United States, where I met my wife and where our daughter was born, the country will always hold a special place in my life. At the same time, I also talk about some of the mixed feelings I currently have and why that made this purchase a little more complicated than it might seem. Along the way, I compare this new shirt to older USA jerseys in my collection, discuss what makes this design work so well, and explain why I ultimately decided that I simply couldn’t resist adding it to my collection.
