Your goth roommate passes on his flu to you and you get sick. Now it's his turn to take care of you. But he's not too happy and hates it. Definitely not because he's secretly very worried. Enjoy ma pookies. You wanna know smtn. Cooking is so freaking jarring. I'm definitely more of a cook to eat, rather than eat to cook type of person. I mean it in the sense that I LOVE to eat. (Ngl, y'all know that way too well anyway) But if I didn't have to eat, I would seriously never cook again. It's such a monotonous, boring and exhausting activity. I used to try and cook everyday. I would try and do all my work, go to the gym, cook food, clean dishes etc but it was so unfeasible. Like trying to figure out what I wanted to cook took me like 45 minutes. I would seriously spend an unreasonable amount of time to figure out what I wanted to eat. And then buying the ingredients took another 45 minutes cause I had to walk down to the store, buy everything, come home. And then chopping things up and cooking itself took an hour altogether. Then finally doing the dishes, which took 30 minutes. The whole process itself would easily take up 2-3 hours from my day, when I was already scrambling for time. So I just stopped cooking ngl. I don't condone that. Not knowing how to cook I mean. I sincerely believe, boy or girl, you should at the very minimum know how to cook 5 recipes. Cooking is an essential adult skill. But damn is it exhausting. I can't fathom how adults do this everyday. What I started doing was cooking in bulk. Preparing meals for the week in advance. There's not fun in it, cause the food isn't as "fresh" and I get bored eating the same 2 meals all week. And the process to bulk cook is draining too. I think we can conclude, in general, that I'm a fat booty activity man. I either need to make up a more efficient process, or just not be lazy. So today, I actually made some lasagna. I'd show u a picture, but I ate it all. That's also an issue. Like I cook in bulk for the next 4 meals, but I sometimes just eat it all in one go cause it tastes so good. Like ugh why do I have to be such a good cook (that's literally cap cause no1 other than me likes my cooking app). I also LOVE to bake. Okay, no that's a lie. I love to EAT bakery. I hate baking. Recently, I've been seeing sooooo many brownie and cookie and other desert recipes and it's tempting me so much to bake deserts. But I don't want my fatty batty to get any bigger. I've been trying to do those "healthy" recipes, but they all taste so ass. Not the good kind. The texture is like a rock sample from an active Indonesian volcano, and the taste is like the mud from war trenches. It's not fun. I wish unhealthy food was actually healthy. Like just a fat and sugar filled brownie was amazing for my gut health, for my chemical balances and for longevity. Like eating a triple chocolate brownie infused with cookie dough had the benefits of a healthy salad. If I had superpowers, I would def want it to be like being able to digest and eat all the food I want without putting on any fat. That would be so supreme. That's one of the reasons I'm so happy I'm single. Wow, this is becoming SUCH a long rant. But I'll continue. So if I was married, or had a partner and they suggested "hey wanna go out for dinner?" or "wanna bake brownies?" Like fuck yeah. I'm not gna say no to that. Ever. I'll always be down. I feel like when ur in a relationship, ur just always eating unhealthier cause it's fun to go out and do fun things. Maybe that's y ppl put on the "comfort" weight or whatever it's called.
