Basic Room Demo – Is the Badlander a Real Rectifier? A very basic in-room demo on a topic I’ve always found interesting: Is the Badlander a true Rectifier? We often hear that it’s an amp that lacks character in the low end and gain. But does it actually lack those qualities? Do we REALLY need all those frequencies in such abundance? Personally, from my very first experience with the Badlander when it was released, I noticed strong similarities in its frequency response to the Revision C models. It delivers a tight, aggressive tone—unforgiving and very upfront. Even though it’s more modern and technologically advanced, I firmly believe it is still a true Rectifier. The DNA is there!
