Lawyer asks: Senate chaos an excuse to derail VP Sara impeach trial? | DZMM TeleRadyo

These and more are just some of the events that have made the Senate dysfunctional in the past few weeks, according to UP College of Law associate dean Paolo Tamase. Tamase said the various statements issued by civil society and business groups have underscored the chaos in the Upper Chamber. He added, however, he is unsure if these events could be used to derail the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte. “Hindi lang natin alam kung magagamit bilang bagong palusot yung problema nila doon sa liderato,” he said.
