Christening his debut in impressive fashion, Fahlberg inaugurates the package with the dynamic and driving opener ‘We Got Rhythms for Sale’. A chunky peak-time number released as a standalone single two weeks ahead of the full EP on September 20, the mesmerising A-side sees the Swedish talent build a relentless assortment of rolling basslines, intermittent vox drops and teasing breakdowns, as he launches the EP in style. Next up, we see the introduction of ‘My Confusion’. An intricately layered house cut, driven by long, drawn out basslines, cosmic synthesisers and expertly manipulated female vocal samples, the middle order of Fahlberg’s EP sees the formidable Swede fire on all cylinders, whilst showcasing a different side to his diverse sonic repertoire. Last but by no means least, the Stockholm-based artist offers up his third and final original offering on the extended player as he teams up with Dutch artist Mick Jerome for ‘I’m So Groovy’.
