Historien om Baldisholteppet (1040–1190)
The Baldishol Tapestry was found when the church at Baldishol farm was demolished in 1879. The tapestry were used for insulation under the floorboards of the church, an thus was kept from sunlight for canturies. That i swhy the colours are so vibrant even almost a thousand years after it was made. The National Museum acquired the tapestry in 1887.
