FRESH START! - Arma 2: DayZ Mod Vintage [Ep.1] - (Chernarus 1.7.2.6)

In this episode I head into the woods to gather some basic gear before venturing into Elektro for medical supplies. I also ramble about some random stuff. I'm starting a new Arma 2: DayZ Mod series on an old server I've set up just for fun. In an attempt to simulate the old DayZ experience I've loaded an old patch and scripted in some AI bandits. I've been playing it with some pals and it's been fun! We've had some crazy situations occur so I thought I'd start this series in an attempt to capture some of these, and also see how long I can survive. I'm in no way trying to bring back old DayZ or anything - we just really like this version and have a lot of fun playing it. SERVER UPDATE: The server mentioned in this video is no longer running. I'm planning on doing this maybe once or twice a year, so join my discord for updates on that. NOTE: If you're having trouble with Steam downloading Arma 2: DayZ Mod and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead to seperate folders, you will have to copy the contents of the Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead folder into the directory where Arma 2: DayZ Mod is installing (an Arrowhead folder in your steam directory followed by these numbers probably: 224580). You also might want to copy the addons folder from the regular Arma 2 directory into your Operation Arrowhead directory. I've had this fix some errors too.
