Bikepacking France. Gorge Roads, Castles and Mind Blowing Scenery! (Part 2)
Join us for Part 2 of our mini bikepacking adventure, where the final two days bring pure exhilaration and unforgettable scenery. We kick off in Quillan, riding through jaw-dropping gorge roads—the dramatic cliffs of the Gorges de la Pierre Lys and the mesmerizing rock tunnels of the Gorges du Rebenty set the stage for a journey like no other. Our route then winds into the heart of the Ariège region, where we pass through the historic town of Foix and marvel at its centuries-old Château before arriving in the charming Tarascon-sur-Ariège. On day two, we leave Tarascon behind and head home along the scenic Foix to Saint Girons Voie Verte. This peaceful route, steeped in history and natural beauty, carries us through verdant landscapes until we wrap up our adventure in Saint Gaudens—just in time to catch our train back home. If you crave epic vistas, rich local history, and the thrill of the open road, this is a ride you won’t want to miss. Hit play and join us on this final leg of our incredible journey!
