Visiting the Remains of a Top Secret WWII Army Camp - Camp Bouse, Arizona
During World War 2, the Army established the Desert Training Center in the deserts of Arizona and California to prepare American soldiers for combat in North Africa. There were 12 seperate camps, but one of the camps, Camp Bouse, was kept top secret. In this video we visit Bouse, Arizona then head out into the desert to see what remains of Camp Bouse. While at the camp we discover what was left behind and discuss it's history and the top secret Gizmo that was tested there. Part of Camp Bouse is on Arizona Trust Land and requires a permit to visit.
