A rainy day in Kanazawa made the perfect setting to explore Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens. Originally built by the Maeda clan during the Edo period, this historic landscape garden is known for its seasonal beauty, iconic yukitsuri (snow rope supports) and teahouses tucked among lush greenery. The rain added a serene, almost mystical atmosphere to our walk.
