Best known as co-founder, musician and producer for ‪@BlackPumas‬ as well as his solo work and film scores (including the 2025 Oscar nominated 'Like A Bird'), this unique concept sees Quesada take over The Gatehouse studio at Abbey Road for two bursts in 2025. Beginning this past Summer, Quesada will now return to Abbey Road this November to continue the ‘takeover’ sessions in the Gatehouse, while making full use of Abbey Road’s prized collection of vintage and modern instruments and gear. Alongside his own projects, he will participate in Abbey Road’s Amplify programme which is designed to inspire and empower the next generation of artists, producers, composers and creatives through free mentorship, direct engagement and practical skill development.
