I hated the OP-XY synth engines... until I found this.

I’ve been pretty vocal about my frustrations with the OP-XY: the built-in synth engines often lack the variation I'm looking for, there isn't a dedicated drum synthesizer, and the effects routing is limited. But there is a massive, untapped space on this device that completely changes the game. Today, we are diving into custom synth engine packs designed by Metropolis Border. We are holding off on multi-samples for a future video and just focusing purely on what the built-in synth engines can actually do when programmed by someone who truly understands sound design. I'm testing out his Free Pack, the "Vibe Shift" pack, and throwing down some beats using the M-1 headset and DJI Pocket 3 to capture it all.
