75 Jahre Windsbacher Knabenchor: Das Leben im Sängerinternat

In 1946, a choir was founded in the newly reopened parish orphanage in the tranquil village of Windsbach near Ansbach. When the first 91 boarding students moved in after the end of World War II, no one could have imagined what the choir would become. In the following years, choirmaster Hans Thamm shaped an ensemble that garnered attention far beyond the region, and since then, the Windsbach Boys' Choir, with up to 70 performances a year, has been among the world's best. This year, the choir celebrates its 75th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, we followed a recent Windsbach boarding student through his daily life.
