Any Communication Is Worth Celebrating
When our daughter was diagnosed with "severe" autism, a language disorder, and a motor function disorder, we were unsure if she would ever be able to speak or even communicate with us and the world around her. We are thankful that we were able to access support and resources throughout her life to help her succeed. Having really great professionals in her life is also a huge contributing factor. Most of all, our daughter's relentless determination to communicate. So yes, any type of communication from her is celebrated. Even if it is a NO! That is called self advocacy. Note: We create vlog type videos so there can be multiple stories and events besides what is in the title and description. Thank you for watching, commenting, thumbs up/down, and sharing. #weefam #autism #autistic #parentinglife #traveling #specialneeds
