The new Renault Grand Koleos turns out to be the Chinese Geely Xingyue L crossover, which is well known in Russia (and many other export markets) as the Geely Monjaro. Changes in design and technical specifications are minimal. Moreover, the Koleos name is considered new for Koreans, as the previous Renault Koleos SUVs were called the Samsung QM5 and Samsung QM6 in the local market, and the Renault QM6 is still in the lineup. Aside from the bumpers and grilles, the Grand Koleos features unique exterior door panels (with different moldings), a more humped hood, and smaller rear windows. The interior of the Chinese crossover, however, has been redesigned by us. Essentially, the Grand Koleos differs from the Monjaro only in the steering wheel hub and decorative elements. The dashboard, with three 12.3-inch screens, remains, although the infotainment system is now renamed OpenR, features matching graphics, and can interface with the myRenault mobile app. 5G connectivity and over-the-air updates are also available. The trunk capacity is 633 liters.
