Green Day - 2000 Light Years Away (imaginary American Idiot sessions)

2000 Light Years Away is one of Green Day's greatest tracks - but the production on Kerplunk just doesn't do it justice in my mind. So I've re-imaged the track as if it had been produced, recorded and mixed as part of the American Idiot sessions - which is undoubtedly Green Day's finest sounding album from a production perspective. I've extracted the vocals from the BBC Live Session, and mixed them with some drum, bass and guitar created solely in Logic Pro X - no actual live instruments! As I had 3 choruses to play with, I've used those as doubles/backing vocals. For the sound, I referenced Letter Bomb from American Idiot as it's a similar BPM and key.
