Gender Relations Lecture | Sheikh Musleh Khan

We invited Sheikh Musleh Khan to discuss one of the most contemporary issues faced by a university student: how to interact with the opposite gender. Islamic guidelines may be blurred for the average Muslim and we are here to tackle those and establish a middle ground for everyone. This lecture is the detailed analysis of Verses 30-31 of Surah An-Nur, along with various scenarios and their solutions relative to this topic. These verses are the most explicit verses in the Quran dealing with the topic of Gender Relations in Islam. They seek to balance our interaction with the opposite gender and answer all the dilemmas we face on a day to day basis, whilst maintaining our morals/ethics in Islam. About the Speaker: Sheikh Musleh Khan, born in Medina Saudi Arabia is currently serving as one of North Americas youngest Imams at the renowned Sakinah Community Center, Toronto Canada. He is also the host of Ask Musleh, which is a never ending online video series devoted to answering Islam most frequently asked questions in a practical and simplified manner. He has completed a decade of intensive studies at the University of Medina along side some of Islam most prominent scholars. In 10 years, Sheikh Musleh has acquired a broad understanding of various Islamic sciences making him one of Toronto most active Islamic advisers. Upon returning to Canada, Sheikh Musleh has joined the speakers circuit lecturing and teaching throughout the globe in addition to appearing on various world-wide networks. He is well-known for his unique analysis of Quranic text along with his wisdom in simplifying some of Islam most complicated matters.
