It is a very tranquil camp, and has some amazing roads nearby, especially the Mphongolo Loop, one of my favourite roads in the Kruger. This video is basically a report or vlog showing all the animals and birds we caught on video during our three night trip. Highlights included a few birds of prey, included an adult Martial Eagle; a young male Lion, some beautiful general bird life, lots of Buffalo and Elephants and a Western Yellow-bellied Sand Snake! This was filmed at the pond outside the restaurant area at Mopani Rest Camp, and was eating a frog. It was a special trip and we all hope this video brings back some memories as we have included a variety of bird calls and animal calls in the background for you to enjoy.
