A little peek at some late fall camping in French River Provincial Park. I headed up for a chilly last blast canoe trip with Jordan Walmsley and Laura Hulsman in October 2019. We made base camp at a fine location just up from Blue Chute and spent 4 days exploring, hunting, taking photos and swapping stories. This clip was from a narrow passage that meandered behind our site, leading to a quiet lake that we explored multiple times. This place is a paddlers paradise.
