The Finger Cave Hike. Mount Carmel has several great hikes, the Etzba (Finger) Cave hike is a 3 km loop trail starting and ending at the parking area. The cave is named so because its entrance resembles a finger, it has 3 inner chambers and evidence was found here dating back to prehistoric man. This hike has a lot of climbing up and down over rocky terrain but the views and the cave make it all worthwhile. Don’t forget to take along a torch as inside the cave it is pitch dark.
