Real time color pencil drawing. Peacock on Pastelbord

I have had a few requests for a real time drawing video, unfortunately many of my pieces take so long that creating a video like that is completely impractical... Until this week, where I created a small 5x7" color pencil drawing, using my Polychromos pencils on Ampersand Pastelboard. This drawing of a peacock is fast and loose enough to make a full length video a little more achievable! I know long videos like this are not everyone's cup of tea, so I have also created a time lapse version of this piece. you can find it here This is completely unedited footage, so you can see every mistake and triumph, and see every moment where I stop to think or sharpen the pencils. Unlike the usual speed drawing videos, This should give you a solid idea of just how long it really takes to create pieces using color pencil! hope you enjoy watching this piece come together. Most of the real time footage is acompanied by music only... I would have spent more time explaining what i was doing, however i wasn't entirely confident that my computer would be up for the task of processing a video of this size and I didn't want to spend and hour and a half talking for nothing! Now i know it can do it (eventually!!) I will spend more time chatting the next time I do something like this :) While I did try to add music to please most, I know it is impossible to appeal to everyone.
