On that bright morning, I made an impromptu stop at a small hamlet located along National Route 3 between the city of Yogyakarta and Kulonprogo Regency. It’s a hamlet that isn’t actually very remote, since it’s not far from the national highway. Nevertheless, I felt and discovered a classic atmosphere in this hamlet—from the surroundings to the people and the ambiance.
