Change the saddle - bone 4. Change the nut - bone (this one ISN'T EASY for DIY, but if you get a luthier to do it, it makes the biggest different in tone and playability) 5. Adjust the truss rod - be careful or you could ruin something! I like an action of 2mm at the 12th fret on the low E.
