Behind the Screen: Addressing the Behavioral Health Impacts of Tech-Facilitated Abuse on Adults
As traffickers and other abusers increasingly use digital platforms for recruitment, surveillance, control, and manipulation, behavioral health professionals must be prepared to recognize technology-facilitated abuse and respond using trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches that address both online and offline dimensions of harm. Moderated by Katherine Chon, Director of the Office on Trafficking in Persons, the webinar features panelists with extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and prevention related to technology-facilitated abuse.
