Sen. Whitehouse DEMANDS Answers On EXPLOSIVE $50,000 Tom Homan Bribery Claim

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse confronted Trump’s attorney general nominee Todd Blanche at his Senate confirmation hearing with a direct question that has gone unanswered for a very long time. Whitehouse asked Blanche what became of $50,000 in confidential FBI money that was reportedly given to border czar Tom Homan in the nature of a bribe. The question is simple. The money either went somewhere or it did not. And the man being asked is the man who wants to control every federal prosecution in the United States of America. Blanche’s answer was two words: “not now.” When Whitehouse pressed further, Blanche claimed he was not aware of what the senator was speaking about. When Whitehouse pointed out that Blanche’s own department certainly knows what happened to the money, Blanche said he was not aware that was true either. This is the person Donald Trump wants as the permanent head of the Justice Department, running the FBI, overseeing every U.S. Attorney in the country, and deciding which investigations open and which ones close. Whitehouse made clear that senators have been asking about this for a long time and that the department’s responses have been, in his words, blowoffs. The Senate has had to resort to Freedom of Information Act requests just to get basic answers from a department that is supposed to answer to the American people.
