What the heck is a QX65? // 2027 Infiniti QX65 review

This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2027 Infiniti QX65 luxury SUV. The 2027 Infiniti QX65 is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder with a 9-speed automatic transmission, 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque, standard AWD. Premium fuel is required. The 2027 Infiniti QX65 shares the same platform as the QX60, the wheelbase is the exact same length but it’s a 5-passenger vehicle. It has a sporty looking fastback design with a wide stance, a welcome lighting sequence when you unlock the vehicle with an illuminated front grille emblem and digital piano lighting. Infiniti says, it draws its inspiration from the FX. There’s a new colour called Sunfire Red, the paint features real gold-coated flecks. At the rear, you have a full-width LED taillamp and a hidden rear wiper giving it a clean look. There are three 2027 Infiniti QX65 trims to choose from and it comes with some nice standard features including, a 12.3” touchscreen with google-built in, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless charger with cooling, 11-speaker audio system, leatherette upholstery, head and power operated front seats, driver seat memory, a heated steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats and a power liftgate. The 2027 Infiniti QX65 Autograph trim we are driving adds features like semi-aniline perforated leather appointed seats with quilting and a 12.3” digital driver display. There are two available Klipsch audio systems either 16-speaker or 20-speaker with individual audio. The Autograph model has speakers in the seat headrests for both the driver and passenger, the system is fantastic. 2027 Infiniti QX65 ProPilot Assist is standard, available ProPilot Assist 2.1. 2.1 allows drivers to take their hands off the wheel in certain freeway driving scenarios, handle acceleration, steering and braking. 2027 Infiniti QX65 pricing will be announced closer to the on sale date this summer. 2027 Infiniti QX65 fuel economy, it gets 11.2L/100 km, 21 MPG city and 8.7L/100 km, 27 MPG highway.
