My "VIRGINIA FOWLER" Mule Cannon
Bill displays his Virginia Fowler Rifle. Details of the brass furniture, walnut stock and brass plate lock. The gun was built maybe fifteen years ago. Bill has carried the rifle across his saddle riding his mules many miles. The gun has a smooth bore in .54 caliber and a rear site added by Bill, for better accuracy at distance when shooting a round ball loading. The gun shoots with a simple single trigger. The brass furniture is ingraved with a scroll pattern throughout. Natural patina from extensive outdoor and camping use compliments the overall look of the gun.
