Won't my blood pressure rise or it put a strain on my kidneys?" Today, I will take a closer look at a single Korean meal we face every day and show you that the answer lies within it. The key point is the fact that our bodies do not monitor the 'amount' of salt. What the autonomic nervous system monitors 24 hours a day is the 'concentration (0.9%)' of body fluids; as long as the concentration is correct, the amount is a secondary concern. A Korean meal is already a well-balanced diet with a high concentration, and you just need to bring extra water (500cc + 3g salt = 0.5~0.6%) on top of that.
