After defeating Finland in the final match on German soil, the team took off from Frankfurt to Chicago, USA. After checking into the hotel, the team went out to explore the city and its beach. Back at the hotel, Kai Havertz joined the team after playing the Champions League final. Then it was time to get back to business and onto the training pitch. David Raum and Leon Goretzka visited the Goethe Institut and answered kid's questions. At another event, Antonio Rüdiger and Leroy Sané also put smiles on various kids faces. At the Soldier Field in Chicago the team held their final training session before facing off against the United States of America. The game was won 2-1, thanks to goals by Havertz and Sané.
