This is the final leg of our Costa Blanca trip in Spain. This time, we visit the colorful seaside town of Villajoyosa, famous for its pastel-colored houses, narrow streets of the old town, and beautiful promenade right on the Mediterranean Sea. We stroll through the center of Villajoyosa, exploring the narrow streets of the old town, admiring local street art and murals, and then descending towards the beach and seaside promenade. This is one of those places on the Costa Blanca where you can experience a more relaxed Spanish atmosphere – quite different from nearby Benidorm, one of the largest tourist resorts in this part of the country. At the end of the day, we return to the beach in Benidorm for a moment to say goodbye to the Mediterranean before heading home. A transfer then takes us to Alicante airport, from where we return after this trip.
