The Torrent de Pareis Gorge, Majorca

This is the Torrent de Pareis Gorge on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The best way to get here is to book a boat trip from Port de Sóller. It's just €35 for the round trip and the boat takes you to Sa Calobra, which is just a short walk away through a passageway that cuts through the cliffs. The boat takes an hour to reach Sa Calobra from Port de Sóller, so its best to take the earliest sailing, which gives you plenty of time to explore. I think it departs Port Soller at about 9.30am And departs Sa Calobra at 4.30pm, but please check that's correct. The boat ride offers stunning views of the coastline with it's dramatic cliffs and crystal clear waters. If you are lucky you may see a dolphin. There is a nice beach at Sa Calobra and another just through the tunnel at The Torrent de Pareis. The Gorge is like a canyon that goes a long way and you can hike so far before coming to large boulders that you have to climb through and over, if you want to explore further. So watch this video and see how far I managed to get. I did have an injured ankle that i had sprained a couple of days before, so I wasn't my usual agile self, but I gave it a good go.
