Two dream homes are officially underway, and in this episode of the Bohol Build Series, we take you behind the scenes as two very different builds begin construction here in Bohol, Philippines. One build belongs to our friends Shannon & Ellen right next door to us, while the second project is for our friend Cecile just five minutes away in Pandol. Both homes have completely different styles, layouts, and builders — which makes this one really interesting. We attended both groundbreaking ceremonies and blessings, spoke with the architect-builders, explored the vision behind each home, and got a closer look at what it actually takes to start building a house in the Philippines. This is the beginning of two exciting journeys, and over the coming months we’ll be documenting the progress, challenges, costs, design choices, and everything in between as these homes come to life.
