How To Dye A Lacrosse Head With Ryan Powell & Space City Designs

Follow along as Ryan Powell and Jason Snavely from Space City Designs go through the step by step process of how to dye a lacrosse stick with a Galaxy themed design. Materials Needed: White Lacrosse Head, Pot Large Enough to Fit A Lacrosse Head, Rit Dye (Pink, Royal Blue, & Black), PAM, Krylon Black Lava Marbelizing Spray, Dawn Soap, Goof Off Spray, Cricket Decal Vinyl Sheet, Transfer Paper, & Exacto Knife  Step 1: Clean The Head Step 2: Cut & Peel Vinyl Decals Step 3: Apply Decals With Transfer Paper Step 4: Use Heat Gun On Decals To Prevent Dye Bleeding Step 5: Spray The Head With PAM From 6-12 Inches Away Step 6: Bring Water To 180 Degrees, Put Pink Dye & Dawn Soap Into Pot, & Slowly Put The Head Into The Pot Step 7: Rinse Off Head With Dawn & Let Dry  Step 8: Spray More PAM On To Head  Step 9: Blue Dye & Dawn Into Pot Then Rinse Step 10: Black Webbing Spray  Step 11: Black Dye & Dawn Into Pot  Step 12: Spray On Goof Off, Let Sit For 2 Minutes, & Then Use Brush To Scrub Off Webbing Spray Step 13: Remove Decals Notes:  -Bring the water in the pot to a temperature of at least 180° before adding the dye and head -The longer you let a head sit in the dye the darker the color will be  If you have any questions about the dying process please let us know in the comments.  Contact Space City Designs for custom dyes at: Instagram:   / scdlax   Email: [email protected] Video by Steven Wizniuk  To purchase a Powell Head and other gear visit https://www.powelllacrosse.com Follow us on our social media and hit us up anytime!
