Antari Z6 Series Remote Control Repair - MIDI 5-Pin Din Plug Replacement For Smoke / Haze Machine

In this video I repair an Antari Z6 Series remote control for smoke / fog / haze machines that the connector has self destructed on. This video is also shot at 4K Ultra HD to test my new phone's camera out! The original remote connector is a extremely cheap and rubbish molded plastic one that the pins and plug part fell out of it! The part I replace it with is a Neutrik / Rean NYS332 model of much higher quality and metal construction. This is a fairly simple task for anyone with some basic soldering skills to complete once you know the pinout and correct wiring. I checked this on the old connector using my multi-meter as shown in the video then copied it over to the new connector.
