The Night Window (Piano & Orchestra) | 1917 (OST) by Thomas Newman
In his lastest war movie, "1917", director Sam Mendes focuses on a simple yet powerful story about life, death, destruction, hope and sacrifice. There are many things to be praised of this movie – but especially the “Night Window” scene was the most surreal moment of the entire film. The beautiful movements of the shadows on the surrounding ruins of the city and the majestic score from Thomas Newman made that scene absolutely unforgettable. I realized that the soundtrack used in that scene was arranged also for piano in the tracks “Gehenna” and “Milk” from the OST, so I mixed them together in a cohesive order. Here is the result of that montage. I hope you enjoy this score – and I also hope in its victory at the Oscars! Tracklist: 0:00 Milk 2:28 Gehenna 4:03 The Night Window #1917 #thomasnewman
