FR below ↓ °🎬⋆.ೃ🍸࿔*:･Mathieu Grodet's residency at Cerfav in pictures We wanted to look back on the three months at the end of 2024 when we welcomed Mathieu and witnessed the excitement of the creation of his installation. Blowing, painting, engraving... the glass artist looks back on his stay in Vannes-le-Châtel and explains his creative process during these three months of intense experimentation. With the support of the Cerfav team (Anne Pluymaekers, Jean-Pierre Mateus, and many others), Mathieu Grodet was able to complete his installation project, for which he tested the use of paint in addition to traditional cane blowing techniques. The magnificent result is now on display at the Charleroi Glass Museum. 📍Mathieu Grodet's exhibition “Petites et grandes histoires” (Small and Big Stories) is on display until November 9. Soufflage, peinture, gravure … l’artiste verrier reviens sur son séjour à Vannes-leChâtel et nous explique son processus créatif durant ces trois mois d’expérimentation intenses. Avec l’appui de l’équipe du Cerfav (Anne Pluymaekers, Jean-Pierre Mateus et bien d’autres), Mathieu Grodet a pu réalisé son projet d’installation pour lequel il testait l’utilisation de la peinture additionné aux techniques traditionnelles de soufflage à la canne.
