Why Does The Miraculous Fandom HATE Thomas Astruc?

In the "off" season of Miraculous that is going painstakingly slow, I've had a fair bit of time to catch up with all things fandom and scour wikis and social media to find any topic not yet covered by me to talk about. And well, I know I've talked about Thomas and his relationship before, but those were more particular drama incidents and not the broad topic as a whole. After all is there not a more iconic duo than the Miraculous creator and Twitter. Name one, I'll wait. A Tale As Old As Time, if you will. Anyway, it's clear that the interactions between fans and Astruc is not the chummiest. And it seems to be a popular consensus that a lot of fans disagree/ straight up don't like him. So today I thought I'd wade into the cesspit and figure out why (I quickly realised that I was far too ambitious to cover it all in one video and there was a lot to cover so assuming this video is popular enough I'll do a series on it).
