This squad is a homage to the Egyptian god of Wisdom and Knowledge, Thoth. The regular Rubrics represent the sacred African Ibis with their black and white paint scheme. While the Aspiring Sorcerer is modeled and painted to look like the hyroglyphs of Thoth. The paintschemes are weird and unconventional, but I like to stick close to the intended plan and double down on the theme.
