Wildcamping an Schottlands Küste, dann wurde es seltsam

Three more days on the John o'Groats Trail along Scotland's rugged northeast coast. Between Wick and Helmsdale, I pass dramatic sea cliffs, the famous Whaligoe Steps, abandoned harbours, and the haunting remains of Badbea, one of the most tragic settlements in Highland history. Along the way, I spend my first nights wild camping in the Scottish Highlands while battling gorse bushes, barbed wire, sore feet, and some increasingly questionable campsite choices. The John o'Groats Trail stretches for roughly 270 km (168 miles) from John o'Groats to Inverness and is one of Scotland's most remote and rewarding long-distance hikes. 00:00 Tag 2: Intro 00:38 Tag 2: Wick bis Clyth Harbour 05:40 Tag 2: Whaligoe Steps 11:17 Tag 2: Wildcamp Tag 2 14:00 Tag 3: Clyth Harbour bis Dunbeath 20:45 Tag 3 Dunbeath bis Helmsdale 25:50 Tag 3: Verlassenes Dorf Badbea 29:05 Tag 3: Ankunft Hotel Helmsdale #Scotland #Hiking #JohnOGroatsTrail #WildCamping #Highlands
