Recce Ambush Wolfheze Now and Then

This is an animation of the area where the 1st Airborne Reconnaissance Squadron was ambushed during the opening hours of Operation Market Garden on the 17th of September 1944. There are many videos about what happened at this spot, but most of them fail to consider the changes in the landscape after 1944. Some base theories on the modern landscape and fail to appreciate the terrain as it was in 1944.
