We start our walk across the Alte Mainbrücke (Old Main Bridge), soaking in the views of the river, vineyards, and the Marienberg Fortress. At the end of the bridge, we stop by the wine bars and a wonderful local bakery before heading toward the Rathaus and the impressive St. Kilian’s Cathedral. After a relaxing late lunch and some gelato, we visit the breathtaking Würzburg Residence Palace, one of Europe’s most beautiful baroque buildings. Entry costs €10 per adult, and children under 18 are free — plus, parking in the city is free on Sundays! ☀️ A perfect day of history, food, and Franconian charm in one of Bavaria’s most picturesque cities.
